OFF DA GRID EPISODE 3 Season 2 Shawn Antoine II
THE FOOTBALL LANDSCAPE IN NYC HAS GONE THROUGH QUITE A TRANSITION OVER THE YEARS. THE IDEA OF CREATING A PLATFORM TO PROMOTE THE GROWTH AND CHALLENGES THAT EXIST, REALLY SPOKE TO US. WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE POPULATION IN NYC AND THE AMOUNT OF FOCUS OR LACK THEREOF ON THE GAME OF FOOTBALL, IT JUST REALLY MADE THIS AN APPEALING PROJECT TO BE A PART OF. WE ALSO LOOKED AT THE OPPORTUNITY TO TALK FOOTBALL AND DO IT IN A WAY THAT ALLOWS THE DIALOGUE TO BE REPRESENTATIVE OF VARYING AND SOMETIMES OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS. OFTEN, WE PARTAKE IN SPORTS PROGRAMMING THAT IS ENTERTAINING ON MANY LEVELS. BUT THE VOICE BEHIND THE PROGRAMMING AND PRODUCTION ARE NOT AS IN TUNE WITH THE BROADER AUDIENCE AS WE SOMETIMES THINK.
