The Kingdome is Sacred is an intimate, observational portrait of Harlem’s Martin Luther King Jr. Towers, where the Kingdome basketball court stands as a cherished gathering ground. Filmed over the summer of 2024, the documentary captures daily life around the court, focusing on the resilience, unity, and history that define this community. Through the voices of longtime residents and the energy of the younger generation, The Kingdome is Sacred reveals a powerful sense of place, where connection and legacy are woven into every moment shared on and around the court.
